2019 City of Palmer Burn Permits required April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020 (Updated)

Open burning within the city limits is allowed on a limited basis on parcels of at least two acres or more.  Recreational Burning includes campfires, burn pits, and other recreational type fires.  Both types of burning requires a permit and require an on-site inspection by the Palmer Fire Department.  Applications are available in the Fire Department office at 645 E Cope Industrial Way or online Recreational Permit or Open Burn Permit.  Regulations for each permit are listed on the application.
